FARGO — Connections, awareness and camaraderie are some of the focuses for Camryn Anderson, this year s president of the North Dakota Student Association. She said some of her and the NDSA s goals this year are to reach out to other student associations and make more students within the state aware that the NDSA is something they can join to talk about what matters to them. My big goal as president is to just make the NDSA a place where people from all walks of life feel like they can come and advocate for priorities that are important to them, she said. Anderson was elected in April. Her first time leading the NDSA s general assembly was in September for the first meeting of the school year on the University of North Dakota campus. She is pursuing her master s degree in sociology at North Dakota State University and has had student government experience at NDSU through being a student senator, starting as an undergraduate. She said NDSA is unique in its structure
